Internet Bible College

This Diploma level course is offered to a specific target group: Pastors, Elders, Leaders, and others who are already involved in counselling ministry, but desire to improve their counselling skills to become more effective.

We recognise that many of these men and women of God are already successful counsellors, though that effectiveness is often based on experience and anointing and may lack formal training. We are offering these counsellors a study program to assist them in enriching and strengthening their ministry that can be undertaken at their own pace in the area appropriate at the time.

The List of subjects below are simply listed in alphabetical order and need not be taken in any particular sequence. Each subject attracts its own certificate. Any 10 will automatically attract the Diploma in Pastoral Counselling. More options will be made available in the near future to select from.

• Certificate in Christian Counselling: "Journey Into Wholeness" plus "Forty Days"
• Certificate in Christian Counselling: Marriage & Family I "Marriage & Family Life"
• Certificate in Christian Counselling: Marriage & Family II "Parenting on Purpose"
• Certificate in Christian Counselling: "Pastoral Leadership - In The Eye Of The Storm"
• Certificate in Christian Counselling: "Substance Abuse"

The Counselling Enrichment Program has been developed in consultation with internationally acclaimed counsellors and authors in their field. The program consists of the Student Text Book, an assessment, a Student Study Guide, Lectures on CD or tape, thus enabling to you to study from home, there are no classes to attend there is no set time frame.

Entry Requirements:
Pastors in Ministry who –

• Recognise the need to further develop their counselling tools and skills
• Have a minimum of 2 years pastoral experience; or
• Have a proven record in effective counselling skills
• Have a Diploma in Ministry from Vision Christian College or equivalent institution

Elders, Leaders, Church Counsellors who –

• Recognise the need to further develop their counselling tools and skills
• Have a minimum of 4 years ministry experience; and
• Have an endorsement from their local pastor.
• Have a Diploma in Ministry from Vision Christian College or equivalent institution;

To qualify for The Diploma of Pastoral Counselling you will also be required to purchase the book “How to Start a Counselling Ministry.”

Note: those who desire to enter into counselling studies to develop the skills to become a counsellor but do not yet have the required experience will not be eligible; however they may enter into our Diploma of Theology, with a major in Christian Counselling program, which include a range of theological and counselling study options.
